Zach Levin

Managing Principal and Co-Founder

Zach began his career in BigLaw at Chadbourne and Parke LLP in the finance group. Zach then served as the director of finance at a utility scale solar developer and in the legal group at a bulge bracket investment bank. Zach has been fired from, and failed at, several jobs. If knocked down, he will get back up - after a good, therapeutic cry.

Levi began his career in BigLaw at Herzog, Fox & Neeman (Tel Aviv) in the FinTech group. Levi also served with distinction in the IDF Special Forces. Levi represents clients in a range of corporate and financing matters, and has a passion for building custom legal automation products. If knocked down, he will recover with a double hand spring.

Jiadai Lin

Employment Principal and Co-Founder

Jiadai began her career in New York at Chadbourne and Parke LLP in the litigation group, where she represented clients in commercial litigations, arbitrations, and regulatory investigations. After moving to Santa Fe, Jiadai became an advocate for public school teachers and local unions in labor and employment disputes. Her specialties now include employment law and commercial contracts. If knocked down, she will write a personal essay exploring the existential nature of her journey through the fall.

Michael Mellin

Mike began his career in BigLaw in the white collar defense litigation group at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP in New York. He has represented clients of all sizes in high stakes securities, employment, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation, and defended regulatory inquiries and conducted internal investigations in a variety of industries. He would rather jump on a short call now to help you avoid having to draw on that experience, though. If knocked down, he'll convince you that's where he wanted to be the whole time, then get up when he's ready to try again.

Shanti is a jack of all trades. She started her legal career as a public defender and transitioned to startup law when she founded her own firm in 2015. Shanti counsels a wide variety of clients in corporate law, venture finance, intellectual property, privacy and contracts. She’s also been a choreographer and community organizer. When knocked down, Shanti will get back up and start a dance party.

Mark provides outside general counsel services and regulatory advice. Mark has experience in civil litigation and in criminal law both as a state level public defender and prosecutor. He also formerly held a Criminal Justice Act contract to defend indigent accused in Federal court. He doesn’t like marketing himself. When knocked down, he will take the Fifth.

Mary is serial founder and entrepreneur. Shortly after graduating college, she started her first company – a sustainable Woodworking Business that sells handcrafted items in National Parks across the country. She later founded a Print Company specializing in Vintage Environmental Art. She brings her creative spirit and considerable business experience to our clients. If knocked down she will create an art piece representing her experience and sell it for profit.

Ryan Kim

Ryan began his legal career at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP in New York, where he worked for many years in the firm’s litigation department, with his practice focused primarily on complex commercial litigation and international arbitration. Ryan also has valuable experience advising startups in various legal matters and currently serves as General Counsel for a successful e-commerce company. When knocked down, he will nurse his wounds in a therapeutic bubble bath and reemerge cleaner and wiser.
